Art Project

This is my final art project for Tori Heflin's Biological Anthropology class at the University of San Diego, a collection of digitally enhanced photos I took during the course of the semester as we studied the primates. But it's more than that, it's a reflection of the things I found most interesting and the things that really opened my eyes ...

Our studies over the course of the semester have focused on a variety of primates; Old World Monkeys, New World Monkeys, Apes and the evolution of humanity. I have been particularly affected by what I have learned about the endangerment of many species. In this age of technology, intelligence and 'progress,' we continue to destroy the ecosystems around us and the planet on which we live.
